The story behind Munio

I built Munio because I was tired of watching small businesses get let down by IT companies who turned up late, spoke in riddles, and disappeared when things went wrong.

Back in the early 2000s, I started out fixing computers from my dining room table in Kent (much to the mrs' annoyance — especially at tea-time)! No investors. No corporate safety net. Just graft, long nights, and a promise that when someone called, I’d answer. That mindset still defines us today — fast, accountable, and obsessed with protection that actually works.

Over twenty years later, that one-man shop has become one of the UK’s most trusted Managed Security Service Providers — but I’ve never lost sight of why we exist. We’re here to make business owners feel safe, supported, and in control.

Outside of work, I’m a lifelong Spurs fan, an (enthusiastic) golfer, a motorcycle nut, and an unashamed tech nerd. But my real drive comes from seeing our clients sleep easier because their business is truly protected — that’s what lights the fire.
